Hilary Zelson
Hilary Zelson received a Bachelor of Arts from Union College '11, in Schenectady, New York. In summer 2010 she attended the Chautauqua School of Art, and showcased the work in her first solo show "Day and Night at Chautauqua: Work by Hilary Zelson." She then showcased "Glitter Paintings," her senior exhibition in the Burns Arts Atrium Gallery at Union College. Zelson was one of the youngest to be included in the renowned “Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors". In January photographs from her "Colors of Night" series were on display in the Washington Art Association's exhbition "Young Talent 2012". She is balancing her career as an artist working in photography and painting (in watercolor and mixed media), and working as an after school art teacher. She also works as an art instructor at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Zelson will be exhibiting "Dripping in Glitter" at Ivar Hayden’s Backstreet Gallery and Framing April 1-30, 2012. A reception will be held April 28, from 4:00-6:00 PM. On display is a mix of her unique Glitter and colorful Watercolor paintings.
