Hilary will have her painting "Centaurus A" on display at Gallery Ehva during, Appearances 2014, 4th international eco-art festival. Provided by the Trustees of the Reservation, the festival will have use of the 17 acre Dunes Edge Eco-Campgrounds with 100 camping sites for the Festival. Join her for the gallery opening, April 19, at 2pm a Gallery Ehva in Proviencetown, MA.
Hilary has been selected to be the Lead Artist for the 2014-2015, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Community Arts Initiative, Artist Project! The Artist Project is a collaboration between an experienced artist, the Museum of Fine Arts, and ten community organizations in the Boston area. Under her guidance, the children will visit the museum, learn, and create art. In the end, the projects will spiral together to become one artwork created by 125 artists. The final installation will be displayed for six months in the Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art at the MFA!
From September 27 - October 14, Hilary will have her Street Piano on Display outside of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Huntington Entrance. Join her on Sunday, September 29th, at 12:15pm, when the Magic Flute cast members make an appearance at the piano (info here) or on Saturday, October 5th, at 9pm, for the Kick-off Party (purchase tickets here)!
Stop by Boston Children's Museum and see Hilary Zelson's display glittering display "M is for Meteorite", as part of the exhibition "An Alphabet of Inspiration: Artists Celebrate 100 Years of Collections". The exhibit will be on display for a year, so stay tuned for special programing and appearances with Zelson at BCM over the next few months.
Hilary will be displaying her newest Glittering Astroart, April 12 & 13, 2014, at the Northeast Astronomy Forum, America's Premiere Astronomy Expo. The event is open on Saturday from 8:30 am - 6 pm and Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm at Rockland Community College, in Suffern, NY.
Zelson will have a photograph of her painting "Carina Nebula" on display during the exhibit "The Cosmos", the 15th international art-sci juried exhibition being held at the New York Hall of Science held from August 31, 2013 until March 2, 2014. The exhibit is organized by Art & Science Collaborations, Inc. Mark your calendars for the public reception which will be held on November 10, 2013, from 3-5pm.
