This year, the Boston Mayor's Office of New Urban Mechanics launched the Second Public Space Invitational, an open call for creative minds to reimagine civic spaces and public infrastructure in Boston. Hilary was selected as a finalist and her project "A Monument to Us" won an Honorable Mention.

Who Wears Wool is a temporary, six week floating art installation that is inspired by the history of art and business in Fort Point. The installation will be on display for six weeks.  The installation is possible because of help from the Fort Point Arts Community, and support by the Friends of Fort Point Channel, and the Fort Point Channel Operations Board. Hilary has been selected to be the Lead Artist for the 2014-2015, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Community Arts Initiative, Artist Project! The Artist Project is a collaboration between an experienced artist, the Museum of Fine Arts, and ten community organizations in the Boston area. Under her guidance, the children will visit the museum, learn, and create art. In the end, the projects will spiral together to become one artwork created by 125 artists. The final installation will be displayed for six months in the Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art at the MFA! There will be a Gallery Talk on June 27th, from 12-1pm.

"Fox Fur Nebula" is on display as part of the exhibit Visual Alchemy at Fountain Street Fine Art in Framingham, MA. Hilary had her painting "Centaurus A" on display at Gallery Ehva during, Appearances 2014, 4th international eco-art festival. Provided by the Trustees of the Reservation, the festival will have use of the 17 acre Dunes Edge Eco-Campgrounds with 100 camping sites for the Festival. Join her for the gallery opening, April 19, at 2pm a Gallery Ehva in Proviencetown, MA.

Hilary displayed her newest Glittering Astroart, April 12 & 13, 2014, at the Northeast Astronomy Forum, America's Premiere Astronomy Expo. The event was open on Saturday from 8:30 am - 6 pm and Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm at Rockland Community College, in Suffern, NY.

From September 27 - October 14, Hilary will have her Street Piano on Display outside of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Huntington Entrance. As part of MuralFest, in May, 2013, Hilary will be one of 70 artists converging on this abandon MBTA Bartlett Bus Yard to transform it into a Community Art Oasis hosted by Events at Bartlett Yard, a community based art and culture series located in Roxbury, MA.

Zelson will have a photograph of her painting "Carina Nebula" on display during the exhibit "The Cosmos", the 15th international art-sci juried exhibition being held at the New York Hall of Science held from August 31, 2013 until March 2, 2014. The exhibit is organized by Art & Science Collaborations, Inc. Mark your calendars for the public reception which will be held on November 10, 2013, from 3-5pm.

Beacon Hill Art Walk

The Beacon Hill Art Walk will present Hilary's work on June 2, 2013. The Art Walk will take place along Beacon Hill’s North Slope. Residents open up their private gardens, alleyways, and courtyards and allow artists, like Hilary, to display and sell their artwork.
