Private Commissions
Hilary welcomes the opportunity to collaborate on private commissions and site-specific installations for homes, businesses, institutions, and community spaces. With over a decade of experience creating bold, innovative public art, she brings the same thoughtful, high-quality approach to every private project—ensuring that each piece is deeply connected to its environment and the people who experience it.
The Commission Process
Phase 1: Concept Proposal Development
- Begins with a virtual or in-person site visit to understand the space, goals, and inspiration behind the commission.
- Includes a review of materials, color palettes, scale, and possible themes.
- Hilary will develop a series of design concepts and present them for your review and feedback.
- A flat fee covers this phase, and no fabrication begins until the design is approved.
Phase 2: Final Design & Fabrication
- Once a concept is selected, Hilary will finalize the design and develop a detailed fabrication and installation plan.
- Timelines, materials, and budget are reviewed together before moving forward.
- The piece is fabricated and installed with close attention to quality, safety, and long-term durability.
Whether you're looking for a bold focal point, a playful piece for a child’s space, or a site-integrated work with deeper conceptual meaning, Hilary is excited to bring your vision to life.
